Dear Food, Where Art Thou?

I believe times like now is what we call starving. I am stuck in my room, sick and bored. And HUNGRY! And to lessen this awful moment, I'll just write down what I want at this very moment.

Cheesy Pizza topped with bacon strips, sweet pineapple cuts and onion.
Crepe with a Vanilla Ice cream , sweet mango, and nuts filling topped with strawberry and chocolate syrup.
Fresh cooked Penne Pasta with sauce at its best.
Hungarian sausage with melted cheese on it.
Smoking Bird's nest soup.
Mouth-watering sweet milk chocolate with raisins in it.
Jelly topped with chocolate syrup that has a lychee filling
Brownies, fresh from the oven , with chocolate filling.
Whole grain waffles with hotdogs.
Muffins baked at its best with corn filling
Cakey Pancakes with blueberry on top.
Cheese Biscuits dipped on Nutella

Valentine

I spent my valentine's day with my loved ones. I had merienda with my best friend at our favorite restaurants, Afrique's and Yogu. And ate dinner with my family at our usual dining place for Valentine's day, Hotel del Rio. I went home at 11o'clock PM. It was much of a normal day for me.

'til my next post!

Science Investigatory Project

This fourth quarter, we are assigned to do our Science Investigatory Project. I thought this was just another simple project but I was definitely wrong.

My team's project was chosen to be the class' project. So the pressure is again on us. We are assigned to different comittees to lessen the work. As for me, I am on the "experimenting" comittee. We are tasked to do all the analysis and procedures on our project. I gladly accepted this because I "thought" this would be easy and fun but those were only my thoughts.

Now, I will close my eyes and pray.

Dinagyang 2011

Iloilo's grandest celebration every year has come once again. And everyone is really excited about it and yeah, including me!

Tourists, guests, relatives from other areas, and even celebrities came all their way here in Iloilo just to witness the much awaited celebration, Dinagyang 2011! And it's the third sunday of January again. It has been an every year practice for my family to watch the contest proper for the tribal competition.

After watching the tribes, I AM MUCH MUCH MORE PROUD TO BE AN ILONGGO!

That's it for now, 'til my next update!

Rehearsals

Rehearsals, for me, were the hardest part of the play. Every time we had our play practices, I am tasked to help our director to facilitate our actresses and production crew. Our director was having a major role on our play so she cannot concentrate on her responsibilities. As her assistant, I am in-charge of whatever the thing she cannot cope up with. So all the dilemmas of our actresses and production crew are consulted to me. At first, I wasn't really sure if I can do these things; be a leader, consultant, and a coach. In our class, I am the not-so-serious-one type of person. I go for stupidity and when it comes to exams, "Survival" is the word for me. I didn't expect these kinds of responsibilities relied on a clumsy Justine. But I surprised myself, I felt conscientious not only to myself anymore but now, to my whole class. I felt like being liable of what will be the class' outcome on our play fest.

Being in-charged facilitator of year two Saint Anne is hard. You have to scream your throat out so that everyone will listen to you. I remember one time I almost passed out after a tiring rehearsal.

But all of these are worthy if you'll see the outcome of your sacrifices. It feels great to work hard for something and you'll be given an award for doing so.
